What Happened & Who Did It

Halls of Cross Trucking Co.was founded in 1994 by Richmond Halls of Cross, South Carolina. The company was very successful until they obtained legal representation and advice from attorneys that took Richmond Halls money and his trust and used them for there own self interest. The lead attorney Jim Hale of the Bluffton, Hilton Head area of South Carolina advised Mr. Halls to file the bussines bankrupcty in the Northern district Bankrupcty courts of Georgia. They even helped to find a attorney.Attorney James Keys of Merritta, Ga. filed chapter 11 for Halls of Cross Trucking Company only to allow the trustee to motion the courts to involuntary convert the chp.11 to chp.7. While in bankrupcty, Finacial Federal Bank sued Richmond Halls, resulting in a lawsuit that was filed in Texas. Under advice of  attorney Hale, Mr. Halls retained attorney M. Flemming of Texas for that case. Well, that case was loss, and attorney Flemmings sent Mr. Halls a check in the amount of $1200.00 advising him to file personal bankrupcty. Filing personal bankrupcty would keep the Halls family from loosing their home. Now comes attorney M.Mogil from Hilton Head S.C. and a good freind of Mr. Hale, Attorney Mogil follows suit and makes Mr.Halls look like a lying idoit on paper. We are in need of a bankrupcty specialist. Please help Richmond to regroup.

Women Truck Drivers, Halls of Cross Trucking on Creating Jobs, Helping the Community

During the years that Richmond Halls operated Halls of Cross Trucking he hired hundreds of commercial truck drivers, men and women, of all races and backgrounds to drive his trucks across the nation.

Mr. Halls created jobs for those in his community and anyone with the skills needed to engage truck hauling, and who was willing to work. He strongly felt that those with a relentless work ethic deserved a good job with good pay. Pictured above is one of Hall's female drivers known on the roads as "Chocolate", who spoke highly of Mr. Halls leadership and her satisfaction in working for the company.

The Man Behind the Business

Richmond Lawrence Halls was born June 22, 1945 in Cross, South Carolina. At the tender age of of 14, Halls decided to take life into his own hands and moved to fast paced New York City, New York with the ambition and determination of becoming more than just a country slicker.

In the Big Apple, Halls worked a variety of jobs ranging from corporate cleaner in the Empire State Building, to domestic handy man in many parts of the expansive city's boroughs. In 1973, after four years of working multiple jobs in New York  just to survive, Halls decided to return home to South Carolina and make a living for himself in learning a high demand trade through Westbury's Trucking company, and Halls was a dedicated truck driver for Westbury for 21 years.
In 1992 Halls made another life changing decision in choosing to start his very own trucking company. With one truck, and one driver (himself), Halls worked tediously to get his business off the ground, profitable, and steadily growing. And with great success and after his first year, Halls had over 50 drivers working under him with clients all over the USA.
Halls of Cross Trucking Inc. was booming with business, running flatbed trucks, "reefer units" or trailers, as well as dump trucks for more than 15 years with more than 100 trucks owned by the company, and over 100 drivers on the pay roll. Until things started going downhill, due to no fault of Halls own in 2004, but due to malicious business attorneys Halls hired and trusted to manage his company's finances. Prior to investing and trusting said attorney's Halls of Cross Trucking was doing exceptionally well,  and was invited to Navistar's plant in Canada and given repeated recognition for business professionalism and excellence by numerous esteemed sources.
Mr. Halls is currently fighting to hold on to what he worked so hard to build over the years, he is struggling to maintain family life amidst business struggles and the condition that ill-intended lawyers advised Halls into, and abruptly left him to manage on his own after taking large portions of his fortune.
By sharing his story and his struggle with the world, Richmond Halls hopes to find some help to hold on to his legacy. Some reassurance that what he has built will live on for his children and his family to remember him by.

Starting out alone and as the company's lone driver with a self-owned truck, Mr. Halls grew his business amazingly between 1992-93 to employing over 50 drivers, specializing in dump trucks, flatbeds, as well as extended trailer units

Over the years, Halls of Cross Trucking grew to employ over 100 drivers, and owned more than 100 trucks of a variety. Richmond Halls was highly esteemed private business owner along the east coast and came to have clients all across the USA.
